As previously stated, here is the walkthrough for the adventure game The Passenger. Don’t worry, this will be one of the shortest walkthroughs ever due to the size of the game, but we will be very thorough. And remember that reading all this walkthrough before playing will spoil the game and take all the fun away so try to use it only when/if you get stuck. Enjoy!

Part 1

This is more like a tutorial so it’s quite simple. Grab the flagon from the table, the hammer from the wall and drag one on top of the other in your inventory. You will end up with a key. Drag and release the key on the door to unlock it.

Part 2

Look inside the barrel and pick up the magnet.

Go through the door and pick up the rope on the right of the screen.

Combine the 2 items in the inventory.

Now exit the room and go right until you reach a sewer trap.

Drop the magnet with the rope on it.

Here is the first mini game. You control the magnet by tilting your device. The metal bars and the key are placed randomly each time so it may not look the same as in this screenshot. Just lower and pick up the bars to reach the key. To release a bar simply tap the magnet. Pull the key up to exit this screen.

Take a look at the notice board before leaving the station by going left. Remember the numbers 40, 10, 25.

On the next screen keep going left until you reach a door. Use the key in your inventory to unlock it and enter the building.

Once inside you will find a safe. Spin and release the dial to math the 3 numbers from the notice board: 40, 10, 25 in this order. Grab the photograph inside.

Part 3

Enter the double doors.

Grab the shovel and the pliers and exit the room.

If you interact with the nearby cottage you will get a crowbar. Continue right and enter the tunnel.

Using the pliers on this hole in the wall will get you a couple of twisted wires.

Continue right and tap the door at the end. Here is the second mini game where you need to solve this puzzle and construct the door.

Once inside, go right to the control panel.

Use the crowbar to remove the metal frame and then the twisted wires on the next screen.

Here you will have to connect the wires in order to light both bulbs. This is the solution for the connected wires.

Now go to the elevator switch.

You have 4 buttons available. Pay close attention because they will light up in a certain pattern. Touch them in that exact order and you will obtain access to the elevator. Note that if you fail to recreate the pattern they will all flash red and then start again with a different one.

In the room above first get the box of matches from the bookshelf.

Next, grab the piece of paper from the chair.

Now you have to go all the way back through the tunnel and back to the train station. Here you will enter the room where you got the shovel and the pliers from.

Interact with the book on the table.

Drop the piece of paper in the inventory on the right page.

You now have the exact proportions for the chemistry set in the room above the elevator. Now go all the way back there.

All you need to do is tap the substance and slide it to the desired proportion.

After this the bottle in the middle will turn yellow at which point you need to use the matches on it.

You now have a bottle of unknown substance in your inventory.

Use it on the fireplace to the right. Now you can open the door because the temperature is high enough.

In the next scene go right and enter the building.

There isn’t anything interesting in the hallway so go straight to the second door.

Inside the classroom grab the eraser next to the blackboard and use it to wipe the dust off the blackboard.

It shows a drawing of the location of a photograph.

You can also look at your child’s drawing on the first desk in the classroom, but this doesn’t have any purpose in completing the game. Now go back outside and tap the dirt near the playground. Yes you did walk just by it a couple of minutes ago but it was inactive so you needed to enter the classroom anyway.

Use the shovel to dig out another photograph.
