The Passenger is an interesting adventure game packed with puzzles and other mini games. As the player, you are in control of a mysterious man who is travelling on a train and exploring station after station, collecting and using different items along the way. As you might have guessed it, it is a point and click adventure game, although we can call it a tap adventure game. Unfortunately it is very short but has some great artworks and music that provide a unique atmosphere.
The learning curve is pretty steep, there aren’t many things to learn except to move around and grab/combine objects. From time to time there are also a few mini games where you will be required to solve a unique puzzle in order to advance. All the items in the inventory are useful to complete a certain action and they will be removed as soon as they serve their purpose.
The game itself follows a linear path, there is really no other way to reach the end.
We did experience some problems with objects in the inventory disappearing when entering a new area due to the low internal memory available on the Android device. So do check if you still have some free space left after installing this app.
Overall a great game with great graphics and music. The bad part is that it is extremely short. The total playtime is a little bit more than an hour. So don’t get your hopes if you are planning on playing an entire afternoon. Stay tuned for a walkthrough coming soon on Android Target.
