Magma Mobile brings yet another quick puzzle game suited for the casual gamers. Just like their other bubble blast games, Ice Floe features the same enormous number of levels, quick gameplay, easy rules and quite a fun experience for the young players. You control a small penguin that slides on a floating iceberg. Your job will be to move the penguin into the marked square on the ice by using the fish, polar bears or eskimos at your disposal. The rules are easy to learn but the levels will challenge your imagination soon enough.
If you didn’t understand the core concepts of this mini game yet, don’t worry. The first few levels will indicate exactly what you need to know in order to play.
Although the rules are the same, there are three game modes: challenge, arcade and time attack. Challenge features 900 (yes, nine hundred) levels with no time limit but a star rating. In our opinion the stars are somewhat useless: once you find the solution to a level you can just hit restart and solve it again with as few moves as needed. Of course, you can only play these levels in succession, the remaining ones will be locked until you reach them. Arcade is a simple and fast game, while time attack will give you 60 seconds to solve the puzzle and additional seconds after each successful solution. This will make you think fast if you want to keel on playing.
For those who are stuck on a single level in challenge mode, the developers added a get the solution option that will simply make all the moves for you. The catch is that you can only use this option once per hour.
A quick game in the style of Magma Mobile. Nice graphics, a few advertisements and app promotions. It’s suited for all ages and provides a fast and relaxing experience. The sheer number of levels will guarantee that you won’t finish the game any time soon. If you are a casual gamer you might give Ice Flow a try. For experienced and serious gamers this may seem like a childish game.
